Cajun Fried Corn Wingstop Style

  • 4 ears fresh corn, cut into thirds
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional)
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

  1. Shuck the corn and cut each ear into thirds. Pat dry each piece with a paper towel.
  2. Heat oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F.
  3. In a small bowl, mix Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Set aside.
  4. Carefully lower the corn pieces into the hot oil and fry for 4–5 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined tray to drain excess oil.
  6. While still hot, toss the fried corn with melted butter and Cajun spice mix until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired and serve warm with ranch or spicy mayo.
