1sheet puff pastry, thawed
1/2 cupcrumbled feta cheese
1/4 cupshelled pistachios, finely chopped
2 tbsphot honey
1egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1/2 tspblack pepper
1/4 tspred pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the puff pastry sheet and sprinkle evenly with crumbled feta cheese and black pepper.
Fold the pastry in half lengthwise and cut into 1-inch strips. Twist each strip and place on the baking sheet.
Brush the twists with beaten egg and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
Drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using) while still warm.
