- 2 large eggs, whites and yolks separated
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup milk
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- Butter, for cooking
- Maple syrup and fresh fruits, for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Batter: Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and milk until smooth. Combine with the flour mixture until just incorporated.
