2 cupsall-purpose flour
1 tablespoonbaking powder
1/2 teaspoonsalt
1/4 cupcold butter, cubed
3/4 cupmilk
1/4 cupchopped fresh herbs (such as rosemary, thyme, and parsley)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Using a pastry cutter or fork, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the milk and chopped herbs until a dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently. Pat into a 1-inch thick circle and cut into 8 wedges.
Place the wedges on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
