Lemon & Thyme Baked Brie en Croûte: An Elegant Appetizer

A creamy brie cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry with zesty lemon and aromatic thyme for a perfect appetizer.

  • 1sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1(8 oz) wheel brie cheese
  • 1 tbspfresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tsplemon zest
  • 1 tbsphoney
  • 1egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry slightly and place brie in the center. Top with thyme, lemon zest, and honey.
  3. Fold pastry over the brie, sealing edges with egg wash. Brush the top with more egg wash.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
