12 ozlinguine
1lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cupheavy cream
2 tbspolive oil
3cloves garlic, minced
1 cupchicken broth
1/2 cupgrated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbspchopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Cook the linguine according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a simmer. Return shrimp to the skillet and stir in Parmesan cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper. Toss in linguine and cook until sauce is slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
