Crispy Flatbread with Goat Cheese, Rich Fig Jam, Hot Honey, Walnut & Fresh Thyme

  • For the Crispy Flatbread:
  • 2 naan flatbreads or artisan flatbreads
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • For the Goat Cheese Layer:
  • 8 oz soft goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • For the Fig Jam Layer:
  • 1/2 cup rich fig jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Brush each flatbread with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
  3. In a small bowl, mix goat cheese, cream cheese, and honey until smooth.
  4. Spread the goat cheese mixture evenly over the flatbreads.
  5. Spoon fig jam over the goat cheese layer.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until flatbread is crispy and edges are golden.
  7. Remove from oven, drizzle with hot honey, sprinkle with walnuts and fresh thyme.
  8. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, pre-bake the flatbreads for 2-3 minutes before adding toppings.
