Garlic Mushroom Bok Choy Stir-Fry

This quick and easy Garlic Mushroom Bok Choy Stir-Fry is packed with umami flavor and makes a perfect healthy side dish or light main course.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 pound bok choy, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes until they release moisture and begin to brown.
  4. Add chopped bok choy and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss to combine well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra protein, add tofu or chicken. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions.
