Festive Pear & Brie Crostini with Rosemary Honey Sparkle

A festive appetizer featuring creamy Brie, sweet pear, and a sparkling rosemary honey drizzle atop crispy crostini.

  • For the Crostini:
  • 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch rounds
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • For the Topping:
  • 1 Brie cheese round, sliced into thin wedges
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp edible glitter or sparkling sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  3. In a small saucepan, warm honey over low heat. Add rosemary sprig and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove rosemary and stir in edible glitter if using.
  4. Top each crostini with a slice of Brie and a slice of pear.
  5. Drizzle the rosemary honey sparkle over each crostini. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic sparkle, omit the glitter or use a pinch of sparkling sugar.
